And finally, the rim is a little deeper and the wheel is very stiff, following the Acceleration Concept technology of Shimano which maximizes stiffness while minimizing weight. And finally, high-quality ball bearings and races, are used on these wheels for the best durability while still providing drag-free performance. Sealed bearing and expensive ceramic types are interesting for design and axle compatibility is concerned.
