Campingplatz Pichlingersee, Linz

I stayed here on 13/14 June on my return trip cycling back up the Danube. Quite a small tent only site attached to a Restaurant. I don't think it took caravans and campervans(?). There was little shade and the site was on the edge of a huge "park" area with a large ornemental lake. I expect this park to be filled with the people of Linz in good weather but the 2 days I stayed there were very thundery. Sanitary facilities were OK and cleaned regularly but were besieged with every kind of moth, fly and mosquito!!! But I have stayed in much worse camp sites than this! Check in -- in the restaurant! Ok for a short overnight stop. I liked the City of Linz more than Wien!
