Northwave Magma XC Core Mountain Bike ShoesNorthwave have created the Magma XC Core Mountain Bike Shoes to keep your feet cosily warm and comfortable when you're heading off-road during autumn and winter. The Magma XC Core Mountain Bike Shoes are perfect for those of you seeking an all-terrain cycling shoe with the performance of your summer shoes but the warmth to take you through winter too. The Primaloft® Gold insulation is the key to the warmth and yet it's lack of bulk means you're not sacrificing any pedalling performance for warmth. The shoes also get a flexible neoprene Easyfit Climaflex collar at the ankle, preventing water seepage while keeping pedalling mobility optimised.Inside the shoes, an insulating 4-layer insole works alongside the Primaloft insulation to prevent heat loss while also enhancing comfort and foot support. Jaws Carbon-Reinforced Sole Riding off-road needs a sole that delivers good pedalling efficiency and support but at the same time some flex to soak up the bumps. And this is exactly what you get with the Jaws Carbon-Reinforced Sole. Rated by Northwave at 8 out of 15 for stiffness, it will propel you forward as soon as you apply power but won't leave your feet buzzing with pins and needles across rough trails.
