Camp Municipal De La Cote Des Roses, Narbonne Plage

Fantastic location with direct access to a mile long sandy beach. We were there two years running in the second half of August and had no trouble getting a pitch. The rates were reasonable at about £11.00 per night for a family of four with tent and car. There is a good bar/restaurant which sells great pizzas, a well stocked shop/bakery, good shower blocks etc. The site was friendly and safe and the staff were helpful.Interestingly there were not many Brits. It is a place where the French holiday. The 20 minute drive to Narbonne town is through beautiful scenery with miles and miles of vineyards and the town itself was a lovely Roman town. You must visit the indoor market. Back to the beach which was uncrowded and unspoilt. Altogether a great place to holiday.
