Campingplatz Sigmaringen, Sigmaringen

Stayed here on 6 July 2005 -- my last night in a tent on my 2005 Danube tour. This is quite large with space for motorised, cycle and hiking campers. It is however largely catering for
German holiday makers staying for a weeks canoeing and there are lots of large permanent marquee style club tents all over. Very noisy at night as the large grouips of happy campers get drunk. It was just a necessary staging post for me and I did not have a happy time here. facilities are OK but secured all the time needing a key to access them. Not recommended. But the town is delightful and ther is also a huge hypermarket nearby!
