Camping Fusina, Venezia

We have stayed at this campsite twice now, once in 2003 and again in May 2005. The site's located directly opposite Venice and the Bell Tower in St Mark's square is clearly visible across the lagoon from the tent pitches.

The showers/toilets have been improved since our last stay and are cleaned during the peak usage time in the mornings.

The site can be a bit noisy since it accommodates groups of teens but it's easy to get into Venice each day (vaporetti stop at Fusina and a return ticket costs 9 euro)
