Approximately 41 miles or 67.2 kms from Newcastle upon Tyne.
Take the A1 from Newcastle upon Tyne, following signs to Morpeth. Stay on the A1 after Morpeth and take the A697 Coldstream turn off.
Travel on the B6341 through Rothbury, Thropton and Flotterton.
Turn off at Flotteron farm where a signpost details Sharperton, Holystone and Harbottle.
Travel through Sharperton and Harbottle and then across a bridge. Turn right, just before Alwwinton village, to Clennell Hall Riverside Holiday Park which is located beside Clennell Hall.

Old house no longer a pub, so yo have to do all your own cooking now. If you like a bit of peace and quiet and maybe a little hill walking, this is ideal. Nothing much for kids though.
