Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Site, Holmfirth

Very pleasant surroundings, pitching at the river side made it even better. Good shop and facilities. Nice place to chill out, AND there's a curry house 10 minutes walk away, what else could You want?

Very Clean and warm facilities. Very well stocked shop and late opening too. Nice surroundings.
Only problem is the "Tent" pitch is only 50% flat. As there was no room to pitch my tent the appropriate way I was on a left shoulder to right shoulder incline which did cause a few problems.

I have visited this campsite many times and found it to be very pleasant, have beautiful surroundings and clean facilities. The village is a short walk or drive away and if you like Italian you must visit 'Poppa Piccolinos'. The on-site shop stocks most essentials and some not so essential e.g. bat and ball sets. Everyone is very friendly and you can leave your car and walk on many different routes to places of interest. Enjoy your stay if you go.
