Prior to fitting the plastic of the boots are heated and softened. With the liner inserted, the skier’s foot is placed inside. A special cooling pad is placed around the outside, followed by a compression bag linked to the Vacuum Fit station. The skier then stands on the station in a pre-determined position, this will ensure the boot cools down and shapes to the skier’s natural stance. Once in position, air is pumped into the compression bags, pushing them against the boot and improving the mould being taken of the foot. This procedure achieves a sporty, comfortable fit that is unrivalled in this segment.
