POC Pole Guards
POC’s Pole Guard is a much-needed piece of kit to protect hands when slalom ski racing. Made from Pe plastic it remains tough without becoming brittle even in the coldest of conditions, and the smooth outer surface minimises the friction caused when deflecting gates. The large coverage means plenty of protection, and they fix into position with three screws while a drill guide at the top enables them to be secured closer to the pole. They are designed to fit poles with a 16mm shaft, and the rubber shim supplied helps keep them firmly in place.
