The Auro The Auro features an aerodynamically optimised carbon fibre frame and fork, with internal cable routing and an integrated carbon fibre aero stem. It's equipped with a Shimano 105 drivetrain and comes complete with Tektro direct mount caliper brakes, with the rear caliper mounted underneath the chainstays for superior aerodynamic efficiency. Shimano/FSA/Vision 2x11 Drivetrain Assisting the Auro is a Shimano 105 R7000 drivetrain, sharing characteristics from it older sibbling Ultegra, the R7000 groupset is sleak stealth groupset designed for power transfer and aesthetics. Tallied up with an FSA Gossamer Pro chainset its 2 piece design is designed to increase stiffness and maximise power transfer and then supplied with 53/36t chainring set up. For shifting you through the gears Vitus have rigged the Auro up with a pair of Vision TriMax shifter, aside from having mathcing red caps these shifter have a been specifically designed to include an indexing system to ensure you stay in the gear you need whilst being light and more compact unlike other competitors. These are then wired up to the new compact 105 front derailleur, which uses a new cable pull method allowing a lighter gear change. The R7000 rear derailleur uses Shimanos ever reliable Shadow system which allows you to run wider ratio cassette. Vitus have then spec'd the 11-30t cassette making sure that you are supported up the hills as well as down them. Prime Black Edition Aerodynamic Wheels the Auro is rolling on a set of the new Prime Black Edition deep section wheels wrapped in a set of Vittoria Rubino IV tyres. The rims alone offer outstanding aerodynamic benefits, as they slice through the air with speed and control-enhancing certainty. These wheels feature a 65mm deep front rim and an 80mm depth on the rear, which are optimised to provide the perfect balance between aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability, and rapid but controlled agility in all race conditions. The pro-level tyres add to this race-ready performance by providing exceptional rolling performance and superior grip in every situation.
