dhb Aeron Lab Raceline Speedsuit Skin SuitsAeron LAB. Engineered in the best laboratory we know: out on the road. Over two years in the making, the all new Aeron LAB collection combines rigorous real-world testing with the best components available, resulting in a collection tuned to the needs of demanding riders reaching for new levels of performance. Because when you’re pushing yourself, you need kit that exceeds your expectations. Aeron LAB Raceline: tuned for speed. Raceline has been designed around one thing: speed. Using fabrics specifically selected to disrupt airflow and help you cut through the air more efficiently, Aeron LAB Raceline feels fast, looks fast and is fast. Premium disruptive fabrics This second generation speedsuit keeps the same fit and feel as the original but gets some key upgrades to boost performance. Fast fabrics that disrupt the airflow are still to be found in key areas, used by dhb to create a speedsuit tuned for speed. Across the shoulders, the length of the sleeves and down the side panels of both the top and bottom parts of the suit, dhb have deployed a newly developed and more durable textured mesh fabric, there to improve your aerodynamics and help you cut through the air quicker while also being more resistant to snags. Added to lightweight, high-wicking fabrics for the body of the suit, this is the perfect race-ready combination. The main body of the shorts retains the lightweight and high-wicking stretch fabric from Schoeller®, one of the world’s leading innovators in creating high-performance fabrics. However, breathability has been improved here courtesy of a new inner leg material, as seen on the Lab Ultralight bib short, boosting wicking and drying speed at the same time. Offering the perfect level of compression and breathability, this helps you to stay comfortable, no matter how hard the effort. An integrated leg gripper stitched into fabric eliminates the need for an extra seamline, but makes sure the lower half of this suit stays in place. When the fabrics have been put together with a super close fit and longer, more aerodynamic sleeves, the result is your new favourite race kit. Race ready, second-skin fit Made for top level road cyclists with a cyclist’s physique, Aeron LAB Raceline Speedsuit has a close, uncompromising second-skin fit. It’s built for riding fast. Designed to sit extremely close to the body with no excess fabric to slow you down, Aeron LAB has a closer fit than the dhb Aeron collection. It will feel different: compressive and close. Once on the bike, Aeron LAB comes into its own. After feedback from riders, the Speedsuit 2.0 gets a tweak to the short and jersey overlap with the result being improved comfort and a sleeker fit across the tummy. With a shortened front zip length designed for an aggressive riding position, the LAB Raceline Speedsuit is perfect for riders who spend most of their ride pushing the pace on the drops. The low neckline also improves comfort when riding in this position. When looked after, this speedsuit will keep on performing ride after ride. Please follow the dressing instructions supplied to make sure you get the best out of these bibs. Elastic Interface® Road Performance Pad A high-performance suit needs a high-performance pad. Developed for and in collaboration with the Canyon-dhb team and available exclusively to dhb, the Road Performance Pad from Italian experts Elastic Interface®, is as you'd expect a technically advanced and comfortable cycling chamois. The Road Performance Pad is constructed with 3 different densities of high-density foam, which combine to give committed riders comfort on rides of over 7 hours length. Key to this all-day comfort is high-density inserts, purposely engineered and positioned with the help of university research, to give optimum support at key pressure points when riding in an aggressive road bike position. Pockets that work Rear pockets on top level speedsuits often perform poorly when fully loaded – but without a team car on an all-day ride, that’s exactly when you need them to work. dhb have carefully built the Raceline pockets to sit flush when not in use and able to take a load when you need, without any sagging. Inside the middle pocket sits the toko pocket. It’s a hidden fabric envelope, there to keep your valuables secure without needing to add the bulk and weight of a zip. It’s also got a radio porthole just in case you do need to talk to that team car after all.
