To give you the weather protection you'd expect from a cycling jacket but with the breathability and flexibility of a thermal cycling jersey.The Beta ROS (Rain or Shine) Jacket is ideally suited to the changeable and fickle weather conditions you'll be riding through come autumn and spring and even into milder winter days. In the past, you'd need multiple layers to take off and put on so you don't get too cold or too warm. The Beta, however, deploys a mix of Polartec® NeoShell® and Nano Flex Light to provide ample insulation, excellent breathability and a good level of water-resistance too. Castelli uses windproof and waterproof Polartec® NeoShell® across the front of the jacket and over the upper sleeves. This prevents heat-robbing windchill and will shrug off a sudden rain shower or persistent drizzle. Meanwhile, the back is made from Nano Flex Light woven fabric. This material's key attribute is its breathability, preventing cold sweat build-up when you're applying more intensity or temperatures climb. Being splashproof it will also keep road spray from causing discomfort. Castelli tailors the Beta with a race-bred fit, perfect for fast autumn and spring rides and smooth efficiency when tackling rolling terrain. No flapping fabric to sap energy, leaving more watts for the job at hand, riding and training hard. When it comes to features there's nothing unnecessary either.
