| The Burgtec RideHigh Josh Bryceland Signature Alloy Handlebar raises the bar once again. If you’re of a certain age and still riding you’re reading this mumbling the phrase ‘I remember when’ having already lived through the high rise era of the sport. But they say what comes around goes around.After first coming to Burgtec a little over 3 years ago and deciding on the 38mm rise bar. Josh wanted to quite literally raise the bar once again. Burgtec previously prototyped the 50mm bar alongside the 38s but at the time just felt they looked out of place. With more riders moving towards 29ers they felt the market just wasn’t ready for them.Josh quickly adapted to the 38s but still felt he was running a lot of stack on his bigger travel bikes. So with more frequency, he was popping into Burgtec HQ asking if they had any of the 50mm rise bars left.In the end, Burgtec ran out of prototype bars and Rats a very persuasive guy so they decided just to go into production with the 50s.
