Les Fuvettes, Malbuisson

Another campsite we used cycling from Besancon to Clairveaux des lacs. V large campsite, with a vast areas of pitches. Our pitch was reasonably flat and a decent size, although the washroom facilities varied greatly on the site from very poor portacabin showers with pitiful facilities, to a decent warm clean block (depending upon how far you walk and how much research you do).

Few places to get evening food in the village, although there is an excellent cheese shop in the day, not far from the supermarket. Lake is O.K for swimming in. The other side of the lake is less touristy (mainly fewer facilities). Malbuison does have a cash machine in the post office. Can get V cold at night and hot in the day. Worth taking a trip up the nearby Mont D'or where from the peak you can have spectacular views across the alps to switzerland, across plateuax;s etc...
