Les Grevieres, Berry Au Bac

We have visited this site from time to time over about 10 years. It is a very basic site and is now rather run down, but very conveniently situated just off the A26 Autoroute north of Reims. A separate charge is made for hot showers, and on payment, you are given a handle to the door of the shower! No sophisticated token system here. Site is managed by a charming French couple. Main downside for any tent campers is lack of hot water (apart from the hot showers. A few ducks and geese live on the site and, on an island in the small lake, there are goats. Gate is opened in the morning for departures at 7.30 a.m. August 2003 charge for one night for a caravan and two people, 6.20 euros - electricity extra.
