Campingplatz Weichselbrunn
This was an unexpected overnighter for us. We should have given it more time. It is a very well appointed site. The owner (fluent English) is very serious about his business and has invested heavily to attract vistors and ensure they enjoy there stay. It is immaculatly cared for and scrupilously clean. The Bayerische Wald is a remote area little visited by Brits. The site offers a particularly German holiday experience - far from the sea - access to a small lake set in pristine forest - gin clear waters and a sandy bottom offer swimming that is unlike any in the UK.
