Nopigia, Chania

I have visited this campsite twice the last 3 years. I believe that its the best campsite in Crete. Very good food, big swimming pool, more than enough shade, very friendly staff. It would have been the best camping I have ever visited if it had a better beach. Also its shop is not the best but I think enough for a camping place. Thank you for the great vacation

Yes I agree. Pretty campsite, nice little areas under taramisk trees. A bit smaller than Mithminia.

Superb pool, gets busy with the local children at weekends.

Very quiet and relaxing when we went, but again were told July and August get extremely busy.

the Shop was crap. But was nice to walk around because it was so bad!

The taverna is more a bar, where there are a few set snacks. Eg omelette, greek salad, meat balls and spaghetti, toast. etc. Although we did see photos of when it was packed and had live music. We were told this happens in the busier months ie July and August.

Beach again is across the road but pebbly. Didn't use it as the pool was so nice.

The staff were very pleasant, didn't seem so friendly or helpful, but it may be because it was early in the season.

Staff speak very little english so trying out your Greek was great fun!

Just returned from here (June 2001), great campsite, clean quiet, lovely swimming pool, taverna ok, shop pretty bad, much cheaper to shop in Kissamos about 5km away. overall 8 out of 10. however I understand July and August can be very busy!
