Camping Jonio
Came to this campsite 3 years ago. The owners were very, very friendly and helpful. Built on an old lava flow, the site has access to the sea (maybe 100m away) and there are little steps and jetties to get down to the water which is beautiful. The site has a shop and a bar (small, decent enough for breakfast)
Toilet and shower facilities are basic but clean.
There is a large supermarket about 10mins walk away, lots of restaurants in nearby Ognina
Catania itself is accessible by bus (approx. every 20mins.)
Finally we had a really nice time at Camping Jonio!!!
