Camping Panoramico
This is one of the best campsites I've stayed at. It has fantastic views over Florence and the Tuscan hills, the toilet blocks are spotless and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a well-stocked shop and a decent bar/cafeteria that sells home-made Tuscan dishes. They've also installed a swimming pool, which is vital during the hot Tuscan summers.

Camping Panoramico 
Beautiful site but one heck of a hike from the bus stop in Fiesole if you've missed the free bus up to the site.
The showers/toilets are spotless but this is reflected in the price. A tent, 2 adults and 1 child cost 34 euros in June 2005. Still excellent value for a great site.
There is also a well stocked camp shop which is not over priced.

Beautiful view of Florence from the campsite.
It is located a few miles from the center of Florence.
