Camping Ca Savio Reviews

Camping Ca Savio 5/5 5 stars

Totally unspoilt environmentally friendly site. The pitches are scattered around a pine forest and the site enjoys direct access to a long white sandy beach. Facilities include an immaculate pool (strick rules - sunloungers in the fenced off garden next to the pool), well stocked shop, very small but helpful reception kiosk, good supermarket, dreadful self-service cafe but excellent beach restaurant - which we discovered on the last night! The toilet/shower blocks are clean and airy. There are also washing machines and dryers. Play areas are scattered around the site and we were fortunate enough to have a small one next to our pitch. A large fortress style play area is situated near the pool. The site has bungelows, and pitches for hire and is also used by Eurocamp and Keycamp.

This is one of the best holidays we have had. The site is totally relaxing and tranquil. Just a couple of minutes drive down the road takes you to the ferry stops for Venice and the islands of of Burano, Murano and Torcello. All are well worth a visit. Taking the boat to Venice and the islands will stay with us forever, it must be the best way to experience Venice.

We teamed 10 days here with 10 days in Lake Garda, taking in Verona and the opera and many of the quaint towns and villages around the lake. I would recommend this holiday to anybody.
