Camping Masnou, El Masnou

I just returned from Barcelona, and Camping Masnou, and I had to write this note! Sevreal people gave this location bad reviews on the camp site and the management, but we found nothing but great service on our stay there. The people and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were actually very nice, especially for a european camp site! The location is great for touring the city with easy access to the train system. Several really nice resturants are within a 10 minute walk from the camp grounds. I will definately stay there again!

Brilliant access to Barcelona by train, doesn't take long by train, is very cheap and they run till late. But if you want to party all night taxis are very reasonable too. Lovely swimming pool, the beach is on the other side of the road but you have to walk under an underpass to get there. Staff aren't that friendly and the sound of the guard screeching, "bed or beach?" came to be very well known to some of the louder members of our group at night! Compared to how much you would pay for a hotel with a swimming pool as nice as this one the price was very reasonable too.

Getting to Camping Masnou:
Take the motorway from Granollers to Premia de ma, follow the coast railway line. Take the N-11 to El Masnou, immediately after the railway station on your left, there?s a road junction with traffic lights, cross this junction and immediately you will see a very small sign for Camping Masnou, on the right, be ready for it as it?s a long way back on a very busy dual carriageway. You?ll think that because of the built up area, a camp site couldn?t possibly be there, it is.
This camp site is very convenient for Barcelona, as the railway station is 100 metres from the camp site.
