Camping Port De La Selva, El Port De La Selva

Excellent campsite that we visited in August 2005. I went with my family and found the people really friendly. Superb pool that was generally not too busy and always clean. Nice bar area that had reasonable prices and was never too busy. A bit of a trek up the road as we were on foot but maybe you could get a taxi. We walked from bus stop there and back. Bus from Barcelona and Figueres. Highly recommend and would return tomorrow. A good price per night, but take cash. On site supermarket had good provisions.

It's terrific! Very friendly and helpful and willing to slot me in even though they were full and I hadn't booked. The pool, open-air bar and restaurant are excellent, there is a supermarket on site, the local port is interesting and there are some fantastic (though quite challenging) local walks, ancient sites etc.
