Camping La Herradura, Almuñecar

There are 2 campsites in La Herradura. We saw the site detailed above, the locals told us that it is used by regulars who come at the weekends and holidays, yes it doesn't look very inviting. Carry on along the beachfront to Nuevo Camping La Herradura, which is located at the west end of the bay. The campsite is no more than a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the facilities are good with a shop on site together with a nice restaurant/ bar. One of our favourite campsites. (Please feed the ginger cat if you come across it during your stay).
