Camping Bayona Playa, Baiona

A large site in a spectacular setting, surrounded by water on three sides. Busy at weekends but quite during the week, the site maintains adequate facilities, although nothing to rival it's competitors on the East Coast. Electric is available to most pitches and many have a direct lagoon view. itches to the front of teh site are to be recommended as those to the rear can get a bit smelly when the tide goes out! Site boasts a large Swimming pool with a complex slide arrangement and is generally a good place for children. The resturant and bar are basic but adequate if you do not fancy the 30min walk along the beach to reach the town of Baiona. If you do go into the town then the fish resturants are highly recomended.
Baiona Playa is a very Spanish site with not many visitors from other nationalities, it also therefore has a rendancy to be quite in the daytime but noisy at night, sometimes until 4 or 5am. The beach is desent and the sea very cold, thsi is a site that will be well worth a least one visit in your life!
