Manorafon Farm Reviews

Manorafon Farm 5/5 5 stars

Hi As a camper I booked and stayed at Manorafan farm in June 2009. The pitching plot were of a high standard and toilet and shower facilities excellent. The site is situated with in walking distance of local amenities. For shopping, dining, beaches and hill walking. As the owners of the site were frendly and approachable at all times. Excellent choice for loan campers or family groups. Highly recomendable site can't wait to return

Manorafon Farm

Gwrych Towers camp is situated around a giant gate lodge called Abergele gates built about the early 1800?s and surrounded within the walls of the grand Gwrych Castle Park.

The parkland was once used for hunting dear. Today the park has been broken up into a golf club and farmland. This campsite is one of the most friendly I know.

Steeped in history and about a 10-minute walk from Abergele town, with its pubs & spar. About a 20 minute walk is Pensarn beach. A long sandy beach from Llanddulas to Towyn (appox 10 miles)Also right out side the camp is a bus stop with regular journeys across North Wales. Snowdonia is approx 35 minutes away too.

Surrounding the parkland is of course the Gothic Gwrych Castle. Sitting on the hill now in a bad way with it's 18 towers and miles of walks throughout the 200 acres of woodlands.
