Hentervene Farm Caravan and Camping Park, Bude

Really smashing site, with very friendly owner (we only met the man, but I think a couple own the place).

When we stayed, the owner explained that this was his first season, and he had improvements planned, but we were thoroughly impressed anyway by the cleanliness, the free use of freezer (for ice packs) and microwave. The showers were hot and free, with hairdryers provided, and we would certainly stay again.

We were only there for two or three nights (I forget now), just after the Boscastle floods, and the ground was sodden, but we were carefully guided to the most suitable spot, and the owner checked on guests each day.

We were a couple camping alone, and though we were near the children's play area, we found it fairly quiet (considering it was the middle of the school holidays!).

The caravans on-site looked comfortable, too. We didn't venture to the games or TV room.
