Trevella Caravan and Camping Park, Newquay

We stayed at Trevella in July 08,and thought the site was fantastic. Lots of shower and loo facilities including large family rooms. Beautifully mantained grounds which include fishing lakes. Shop well stocked for tinned and packet goods,and essentials like bread and milk but no fruit or vegetables,although there's a Morrisons 10 minutes away. Pretty much silent after 10pm,great for us as we have small children. Good kids play areas. All in all we will probably go again next summer.

Have visited this site several times over the past 8 years. Family run. Very peaceful. Flowers are amazing. Very good shower block. Several large areas to pitch. Very popular in school holidays, best to book. Lovely warm pool. Fishing lakes are lovely to walk round in the evenings. Large licensed shop is very good. There is a very small cafe and takeaway - ok for occasional snack. Good laundry. Friendly staff. Good walks from campsite along River Gannel to Crantock Beach or Newquay when tide is out. Recommended for a peaceful holiday. The Bowgie pub in West Pentire (about 2 miles) has lovely views over Crantock Beach and serves good food. Recommended for a peaceful base within easy distance of lively Newquay.
