Fieldhead Camp Site 
Just got back from Friday/Sat stay.
Beautiful site - got a pitch right by the river.
Full on Sat night so showers were overrun and a bit grubby but not a massive problem.
(note :when it says dont wash your boots and dishes in the sinks for washing your face -please dont !!)
Waited for 1.5 hours for food in the Nags on Saturday night but the sozzled swine was excellent and dulled the pain.

Fieldhead Camp Site
Informed and very friendly staff make this the campsite for all wishing to walk and climb around Edale. Pitch in small, tree lined fieldlets, or by the river, rather than a huge field full of cars and vans. Car park is 50m from nearest field, so no risk of being woken/run over by those ariving late. As part of Peak National Park the site seems not to attract the camper who thinks that the secret to a good nights sleep is 17 pints, rather than a good bedding mat.
