Camping and Caravanning Club Site, Kingsbridge

This site has a great location about a quarter mile inland from Slapton's shingle beach and ideally located for Slapton's village pubs and the nearby nature reserve. About half the pitches have a sea view and there is a reasonable amount of shelter from well placed bushes and trees. Facilities are modern and include a good laundry area and both outside and inside washing up areas. There are 3 showers each in the Male and Female blocks (free) with plenty of hot water. There is also a small shop run by the wardens. TIP: Don't try to approach the site by any route other than through Kingsbridge. In particular Slapton has very narrow lanes around it and Caravans will get stuck. (Caravans are for members only and planners only allow 8 on site). No restrictions for Motorhomes or tents.

Summary: Highly recommended site, peacefull well run friendly, clean and in an excellent location
