Shoreside Camp & Caravan Site, Rhosneigr

Situated at the end of RAF valley airfield, the Hawk jets fly from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but not during the weekend and you will be on nodding terms with the pilots. If you are 'lucky' they may have night practice until 11:00 p.m. We love the place. The site is close to a golf course with easy access to the sand dunes and beach. It is just a short walk to the town, the Maelog hotel is about a mile walk. The site is uneven with an old toilet block with 2 showers and 1 washing-up basin in each toilet and is well maintained. There are some electric hook-ups. This area is loved by windsurfers using the sea and Maelog lake.
