Gordale Scar, Skipton

A really great location to camp once you get over the fact that there is only 1 shower on the whole site - not one block, but one shower !!
Apart from that its a great site in a great location, with fotpaths everywhere and plenty to see. Decent pub 1 mile away but limited shops so make sure you bring all of the provisions you need with you. Would definitely go back.

This campsite is absolutely amazing. I arrived at night and it was pitch black. We set up our tents and went straight to bed. The nest morning i opened up my tent to be greeted by the most beautiful campsite i have ever stayed in!The hills and mountains surround the campsite, and there are many walks you can take from there. A small beautiful stream runs through the campsite. This stream runs down to janest foss, a waterfall less than five minutes walk from the campsite. The waterfall is a shady woodland retreat from the hot sun. The water falls into a beautiful lagoon which you can swim in. Less than a miles walk away from the campsite is a small village. it is lovely to walk there of an evening, and sit in the wonderful pub and have one their delicous pub meals on offer.This campsite is perfect for walkers, but it is also perfect for some one who wants to enjoy total relaxation in the most beautiful of settings. 10/10
