Wood Nook Camping Park, Skipton

Set amid a network of wonderful walks, this site is one of my favourites. Clean, tidy, good facilities and well-run. There is a small playground to keep young children occupied, a field for ball games and an excellent enclosed dog walk. The toilet block is always clean (even had fresh flowers on my last visit), there are washing/drying/ironing facilities and a small shop. There is a footpath running through the site which means that hikers' heaven is on your doorstep. I must say that the static caravan we stayed in on one of our visits was spotless and well-equipped. Cannot recommend this site highly enough... no, I'm not on commission.
