Causey Hill Caravan Park
We stayed in our tent on this camp site in August 2002. It cost £8 per night for a 2 man tent. The tent area can take about 20+ tents but is on a slight slope so get there early to get the best spot. The ladies wash block has 7 toilets and 3 showers so queuing was not a problem. There is an additional washing room for clothes and dishes with laundry facilities on the other side of the site with the static caravans. The site is a couple of miles outside Hexham but a taxi only cost £2.60 so the town is very accessible with good eating and drinking spots.
I would recommend this site.
