Diamond Farm Reviews

Diamond Farm

We have visited this site since 1994 which was our very first camping season and have been back every year since. Last year (2002) the owners installed a new shower block which is a vast improvement on the old one (still in use) but even today they still have some problems with it, mainly temperature control and drainage. The site is managed by a very friendly couple who's names are, Carol and Paul.

The site in general is well maintained throughout the year and boasts an out door swimming pool that our daughter adores. As it isn't heated, it is always far to cold for the rest of our family, but it is nice to sit there and watch your children have fun without having to get cold yourself. There is a bar/pub on site as well that opens from around 7:30pm in the evening until around 10 or 11pm, whilst the children can make use of the adjoining games room. No children are allowed in the actual bar area itself, but this isn't too much of a problem, unless you have toddlers perhaps. We have a large family tent, so we usually try to secure one of the pitches near to the children's playground, but the tent field is just as good if this proves to be full.

Overall, we feel confident enough to recommend Diamond Farm to anyone who has not been there before and we are sure that you will enjoy your stay. Whether you have a tent like us, or even a caravan, you will be very well looked after during your stay.
