Carlton Meres Holiday Park Reviews

Carlton Meres Holiday Park 5/5 5 stars

Nice, tidy site with 2 lakes for fishing, one with carp and the other with a mix of coarse fish. Has an outdoor heated pool and childrens play area, a clubhouse with restaurant, entertainment at weekends and a games room. Excellent shower (20p for 5 mins), laundry and wash up areas. Nearest town is Saxmundham, 2 miles away. Could possibly do with a few more childrens entertainments but if you make your own entertainment this peaceful site is a good allrounder. I've been twice without my children and enjoyed the peace and quiet, will be testing it with the kiddies later this summer, will let you know how we get on! Oh and dogs are allowed but you are only supposed to have one dog, ask for permission before booking if you want to take more. There is NO onsite shop so it's a 2 mile trek for the shopping.
