The Orchard Caravan and Camping Site Reviews

The Orchard Caravan and Camping Site

A pleasant, easy going, relaxed site with not too many pitches, but with few facilties. The site is a pleasant 5 minute walk, from the centre of Wickham Market through a field, up a path and through the churchyard. Here there's a small range of shops selling most everyday items. Another footpath down the lane takes you by the side of Wickham Market's last remaining pub - "The George". The site has large pitches, and slopes pleasantly towards a thin band of trees, and eventually the river Deben. There's a communal playroom with TV and a small kitchen & wash area, but toilet and washroom facilities could do with a bit of general improvement.

Nevertheless - a great site for touring this area of Suffolk - with good access to local towns & villages - with coasts & heath within easy biking or car travel. Idea for cycling or some rural walking / exploring.
