Tangham Camp Site, Woodbridge

We have visited this site several times to camp over the last few years, and each time had a fantastic time. It gets very busy during the summer, and there is the usual, (and expected) queues for washing up facilities, loos, showers etc. Everything is kept clean though. Our Children (8 & 2) cant wait to go again, as everyone we met are so friendly. There are lots of forest related activities, walks, and you would want to take your bikes with you as there are some brilliant trails. You must search out the carved wooden bird in the forest too! You will need a car (or bike for the more intrepid) Nearest town is woodbridge, about 6 miles away, but the friendly camp shop stocks most basics.
If you want a relaxing chilled out break, give this a try.

This is a very pleasant camping & caravanning site in a well sheltered location within a forest setting. The fun for children is to be had by messing about in the woods or cycling along the mail cycle trails which extend for miles. We stayed for 3 nights and we would like to have stayed longer. Showering/toilet/laundry facilities are good. No road noise. Local pub is excellent but is 3km away. Good on site shop for basics plus ice creams etc. Min 6metres between pitches. Large central play area for footie, games etc.

Well worth a visit if you like cycling or walking or just want to chill out.
