Nunnington Farm Camping Site, West Wittering

Excellent site. Have used this site for a weekend break for the past 10 years and never had a bad thing to report. Lovely grassy pitches, very very clean and always plenty for the kids to do on the grass playing area, make sure you take a cricket bat, football etc for a fun game, as well as a great farm with friendly animals for the kids to visit. Good cycle paths from the site. Butchers in village is wonderful. Shops have most needs. Warning walk/cycle to the beach if possible as its quite expensive to park on there (over £5 a visit). You can't book which can be a problem in high season so call before you go.

Brilliant site, pitches marked out (a little small for a large dome tent and a car but ok. Toilets and showers cleaner than any I have visited!! Constant hot water. Three toilet / shower blocks. Childrens play field. Site staff dispatched kids (& teens) off of the field back to parents at 11pm. Peace! Busy at the weekends. No site shops etc. but village only 5mins away. Beach about 20min walk with kids! but plenty of parking if you take the car. Beach is wonderful. A drive to portsmouth to the navy dock is a great day (or two) out. Loved it will return again.
