Camping Petite Suisse, Berdorf

I used to live in Belgium and we went to Luxembourg regularly to camp. This site was the luck of the draw, the first I came to, although it had been recommended to me by a friend previously. The site is located in the quiet, very friendly village of Berdorf. It is a gradual sloping site located a few mins walk from the centre of the village. The site itself is extremely clean and well kept with ample shower and sink facilities.

The site has no bar, just a shop that sells just basic items but a very short walk away is the local village shop which can provide for all your needs.

It is a quiet site with just a basic playground for the kids, no entertainment apart from that which is self made!

I now reside back in the UK but I plan to revisit the site in May. A long way to drive, but well worth it in my view.

If I had to give the site a star rating then it would have to be a 4. Ideal if you want a peaceful break away from hustle and bustle. Perfect if you like to walk for miles through unspoilt countryside. The name of the site "Petite Swiss" is very well chosen. Its lovely.

It is located very near to a gorge which is ideal to explore on foot, kids will love it. On the other side of the village it is very popular with local climbers.
