Camping Krounebierg, Mersch

An excellent site that I can thoroughly recommend. Eur 21 per night (2004) for a plot including up to four visitors. The site slopes a bit, and the ground is a little stony, but each plot is partitioned off from the others by hedges for privacy.

There is a brilliant, clean and modern toilet/shower block where even toilet paper is provided! There are other blocks for laundry etc. There's even a children's paddling pool, and access to the adjacent municipal swimming pool.

The on-site shop sells food and the usual camping necessities. Don't miss the excellent restaurant. A good choice of beautifully cooked fresh food at very reasonable prices. Don't even think about going off-site to eat!

Motorcyclists must take the N8 from Mersch to Arlon. A great road with enough twists and turns to keep you interested but stunning scenery and chocolate-box-lid villages.
