East Creech Farm, Wareham

This is a small, well-run site with caravans and tents. When we visited it was busy so we stayed in the over-flow field which was actually nicer. The owners were friendly and let us arrive late at night. Worth visiting, especially as the surrounding area is nice.

This is a fairly small campsite on a farm in a lovely peaceful location in the heart of Purbeck in Dorset, which is an excellent area for walking. Facilities include toilets and showers (tokens required), washing-up sinks with hot water, washing machine/drier, children's play area with swings etc., and electric hook-ups for caravans (best to book in advance if you want one). Dogs are allowed if kept on leads. The toilet block is old-fashioned but spotlessly clean, as is the whole site. The site is quiet and peaceful and the surrounding countryside very beautiful, and we go back year after year. There is no shop on site but bread and ice-creams are available at the farmhouse, and the nearest shops, restaurants etc. are in Corfe Castle about 3 miles away. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a good pub nearby with excellent food - The New Inn, at Church Knowle about a mile away.
