Osmington Mills Holidays Reviews

Osmington Mills Holidays

We have visited this camp site for two years running. It is in a beautiful location with good facilities generally(poor children's play area) Unfortunately, the site is allowed to get very crowded which means that you often have to queue for the showers and washing machines(only two for a big site). The overcrowding also affected the swimming pool which became hopelessly full and therefore needed longer to clean with opening times being restricted to 11-5.30. There are very few completely flat pitches as the whole camping field is on a steep hill and there has been no attempt to terrace it which is a shame. I also think the site would benefit from a more organised allocation of pitches due to the overcrowding problem. The site can also be very noisy when the ranch house club closes (11.30) when lots of 'happy' campers return to their tents. We were often woken up by this.
However, if you go out of peak periods this is a wonderful location to visit.
